Karafuu Hotel Beach Resort is one of the few hotels on the east coast where you can enjoy a comfortable and safe swim in the ocean at low tide. A concrete path in front of the hotel leads you from the beach to a permanent natural depression in the ocean bed just 200 meters offshore, offering a giant natural swimming pool deep enough for small boats to moor in.

Room categories available at Karafuu Beach Resort and Spa
All the rooms have makuti (palm-thatch) roofs and are decorated in a modern style with some Zanzibari characteristics. They are all well-maintained and comfortable, with air-conditioner, ceiling fan, television, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, telephone, tea-coffee maker, hairdryer, safe box and en-suite spacious
bathroom. Each room has its own veranda and the beds have mosquito nets.
All the rooms are composed by one big room, therefore do not have separate bedrooms, with the exception of the two Villas that offer 2 separate bedrooms.
For those rooms allowing 4 people in 1 room (Cottage rooms & Junior Suite rooms), you can have 1 double bed + 2 single beds (or 4 single beds), it is not possible to have 2 double beds.
Interconnecting rooms is possible only with Cottage rooms, Bondeni Pool rooms, Garden rooms and Masai pool rooms, since Junior Suites & Suites are “free standing” unit, therefore not attached to another one.
Sea view is guarantee from Junior suite rooms only, just some Cottages have a partial sea view.

The 28 Garden rooms at Karafuu Hotel Beach Resort are positioned at the top of the slope in the lush tropical gardens. The 16 Masai Pool rooms at Karafuu Hotel Beach Resort are newly built around the new swimming pool close to the botanic garden. All rooms have same size of the Bondeni rooms but they are decorated in a typical Masai style.
